Hi there, I’m Matt. At present I’m a Masters Student planning to focus on English and Gender Studies in my research.

I was a Mandela Rhodes  Scholar for 2008. Wow, what an incredible experience - so many like-minded people passionate about social change and reconciliation.  I feel very lucky to have met and bonded with such amazing people.

This blog is filled with my personal opinions on topical issues in modern South Africa and the world at large, as well as a few of my day-to-day activities. I’m attempting this year to keep up to date with myself, and not slack on the blogging front.
